Homeless Street Art – A Global Street Art Endevor by Michael Aaron Williams

Street artist Michael Aaron Williams, purposely puts up street children and homeless people in public view so that others will find them. He doesn’t glue them to the wall but tapes them so that anyone passing by can pick them up and take them home with them. So what will happen if no one does?  “They will cease to exist,” Williams says. “They will be destroyed and blown away in the wind or other forces that will rip them down and throw them away.” Made by drawing or painting on cardboard, the pieces themselves are fragile in their own way. Ultimately, it’s up to the audience what happens to these characters that Williams has created.
